1. EEA – Partner From European Economic Area Or Switzerland
You must prove that you can support yourself and the family members who accompany you while you are in Canada. Minimum fund requirements.

The EEA citizen must be in UK or should be travelling with applicant to UK in 6 months time period. In case if EEA citizen is student in UK, still you can apply for dependent visa to UK. Evidence for EEA citizenship and also evidence of working in UK is required along with document proof.

There are no visa fees for EEA national spouse/dependent Visa.

2. Family Of Settled Person
The Family of settled person visa is for applicant whose spouse is either:
  • British Citizen OR
  • Settled in UK

Basic requirements:

  • Relationship proof evidence.
  • Legal status in UK, documents required as evidence.
  • Minimum Income of spouse in UK.
  • Bank savings and proof of income to show that living cost of dependents will be beared by the spouse in UK.

This visa allows stay of 2 years and further extension.
